I started carving in 1979, and after retiring in 1980 began carving full time; carving waterfowl, game birds and song birds, both full size and miniature. In 1981 I started entering carving competitions and to date have won over 90 blue ribbons ( a bunch of seconds and a few horrible mentions) and 8 Best of Shows. In addition to three dimensional carvings I have carved over 800 bird pins. All of my work is available for sale.
